You know who you are.

You may not yet be able to envision a world beyond patriarchy, but you know that no person’s power should require the subordination of another. You’re ready to dust off your magic wand or make a new one.

You know that ceremony without action is often insufficient, but you know, too, that magic is vital to all deep and successful revolutions. The so-called leaders who have installed themselves in power are acting out the most grotesque archetypes of the toxic patriarch.

The compassionate, radical advocates we’re rooting for have all their ancestors standing behind them, too. We’re ready to see what power looks like when each of us is sovereign.

We’ve been burned, that’s true. We have that in common.

But we didn’t die.

And now we’re pulling the plug on their bullshit.

We’re pulling the plug on our own bullshit, too. We’re laying down the weapons of privilege. We’re using our weapons of privilege against the enslavement machine.

The current system, reliant as it is on exploitation, will self-destruct, that’s true.

But it’s OK to give it an extra shove.

We are witches against the patriarchy, against white supremacy, and against economic exploitation.
